Via fandomcalendar There's going to be a femslash+ exchange on the archive of Sunset! It's cool to see events happen outside of Ao3 and diversifying the ecosystem. :D

Sunset is "a website established in 2025 dedicated to hosting F/F, NB/F and NB/NB fanworks. It holds pro-freedom of fiction, queer and trans inclusive, anti-bigotry and generally compassionate ideals.

All fandoms and all canon or non-canon pairings are permitted. All mediums are permitted - writing (300 word minimum) and art are common ones, but we also encourage vids (30 sec minimum), mixes, icon packs, gifsets, etc. We are not doing medium matching, so by signing up you may receive a gift of any kind.

There's a new toku exchange showing up all about female characters! "Girls Remix is a multimedia Exchange centering on female characters in Tokusatsu and official Tokusatsu spinoff media (such as Fuuto PI). This event named after the Kamen Rider special of the same name, but any Tokusatsu property is welcomed."

You can request more than just femslash, but I knew it would be of interest to mention it here. It's got a low minimum and a generous creation period too! Welcomes both fic and art. You can find more details at the ao3 collection and there's a DW comm too: girlsremix.

Welcome to the Tokusatsu Femslash Prompt Meme: Femslash February Edition! (It's already February in some parts of the world!) Open to all tokusatsu series and films. From Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Ultraman, Kaiju, Sukeban Deka, and even the most obscure Showa-Era toku out there you can think of. If it's in the tokusatsu genre, it's welcome!

This round will run from January 31st until March 1st.

EDIT: Prompting is now closed! However fills will remain open, so browse the prompts and fill to your heart's content whenever you wish!

The rules and guidelines for this community will apply to this event. Please read them if you're not familiar before participating!

Like this space, this event is 18+ only. Participants must be over 18 years of age regardless of what they will create. If you are found to be under 18, you will be banned.

Prompting crossover works is also welcome. The only thing is each series involved must all be Tokusatsu.

This is a multimedia prompt meme. Fic, gifs, art, it's all welcome! If you are writing fics, fills must be at least 100 words minimum. There is no maximum word count. If you are filling with art or a graphic/gif of any type, please drop a link to the image instead of embedding the image itself. Icons are the only exception for this.

Three prompts per comment at maximum, but you can post as many prompts as you like! As they say: the more the merrier! Multiple fills for the same prompt are also very welcome. You can fill your own prompts too if you wish!

If you want to prompt a specific medium, mention that in your prompt. There is an example down below.

Anon comments have been opened, so even if you don't have a dreamwidth account you can take part. Please note that IP addresses are logged however.

Starting February 1st halfamoon is all about fanworks with a woman character at the center! It runs for the first 14 days of the month. It isn't all about femslash and you can do other types too, but it's a good excuse to either make or rec some femslash fanworks. :)

There's even themed prompts if you want to follow them. This fest is really fun, I recommend checking it out!

TokuShipping Week: "An entire week dedicated to your favorite ship from your favorite special filming series." I've been preparing some Kyokalache art for this event, the prompts look super fun and the rules are chill too.

Just like this comm "Series or films created within or directly tied to the tokusatsu tradition, such as Toei’s Spider-Man (Supaidāman), Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Sukeban Deka, and others." are included alongside the usual shows (Rider, Sentai, Ultraman)!
